Maria Klein is an experienced defense attorney who focuses her practice on general liability, first party property defense, construction defect, personal injury defense and commercial litigation. She was admitted to practice in Florida in 2002 and has spent over 15 years defending a wide variety of matters from inception through mediation and trial, including cases involving the defense of first party property disputes, construction liability, rental car company liability, personal injury, along with subrogation, commercial matters and appeals.
Maria co-chaired the trial team that obtained a defense verdict in favor of one of the largest private companies in the U.S. in a multi-million dollar suit in Palm Beach County, that was among the longest running civil jury trials in the county’s history. She handles cases in State and Federal courts.

Her clients have included the country’s foremost insurance carriers, rental car companies, sports and entertainment centers, security companies, restaurants, manufacturers, including a nationally recognized window and door manufacturer, child care centers, the State of Florida, and private corporations and individuals.

Maria earned her J.D. magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law where she was in the top 10% of her class and a Member of the Order of the Coif. She has a B.A. cum laude in Political Science and Religious Studies from the University of Miami where she was inducted in the Phi Betta Kappa Honor Society.
